All our factories have had an excellent working atmosphere, for which we thank our customers. A good order base has enabled us to develop our operations on a large scale. Below are current news about our factories.
Nummela: We have invested in TIG welding of aluminium, and to meet the growing demand, we have hired eight new, highly skilled welders. The machining workshop has also been in busy use, operating in three shifts. In a hurry, we have acquired a new Akira Seiki V4.5 XP vertical machining center in cooperation with Vossi Group Oy.
Skillingaryd, Sweden: We have expanded our factory by purchasing 3500 m² of additional space, which allows us to increase our production capacity. A powder coating line has been installed in the new space, and we have acquired a 20kW Bystronic fiber laser to improve cutting speed and accuracy.
Kangasniemi: Our wet paint shop has undergone a significant modernisation. Thanks to the new facilities and Pekotek's ventilation and surface treatment system, the lead time for welded, machined and painted structures is greatly accelerated, which improves production efficiency and reliability of delivery times.
