1. What is the WinCE Personal Pocket
Dictionary® Series?
LP Laser Publishing Group's WinCE Personal Pocket Dictionary (PPD)
is a series of bilingual dictionaries especially designed to help
people "on the go" learn new languages. For example, WinCE's Spanish-English
PPD will help English-speakers learn basic Spanish and Spanish-speakers
learn basic English.
Every bilingual dictionary not only provides you with approximately
5,000 primary vocabulary items, helpfully categorized by useful,
everyday topics, but is also equipped with functions that let
you build and personalize your own bilingual dictionary. Whether
you travel on business, to do research, or just for fun, your
working vocabulary will change as you learn new words everyday.
Whenever you learn a new word, just enter it into your personal
dictionary. This will help you to learn and remember the words
that are most critical for your needs. With the help of your Windows
CE device, you can record a new word you have just encountered,
then review your personal language database at your convenience.
Best of all, the WinCE PPD is bi-directional and personal, so
that it will even help someone who does not speak English to convey
his or her ideas to you in easy-to-understand English. The bi-directional
dictionary teams up with the flexibility offered by a Windows
CE-powered HPC or HPC Pro to help you build a personal language
database and to act as your personal interpreter on the road.
This makes it an absolute must-have for anyone who travels frequently.
WinCE PPD supports HPC, HPC Pro, PPC.
